matthew sakolove

matthew j. sakolove
owner and boss of everything

Matt Sakolove has been in this business for ages. Literally – like the paleolithic age, iron age…you know, ages. It was tough for Matt in the early years. Imagine how difficult it was to write an effective automotive campaign in the dark; and he’s not so great with a chisel either. That’s why we call him 9-Fingers-Matt. Besides the fact, you know, there weren’t actually any cars to advertise back then. He was way ahead of his time. Always has been. Matt created this agency in his image: smart, successful, effective and hating vegetables. His staff has been hand-picked from the best and brightest in the industry and because of the work-ethic he’s nurtured in his team, we’re all going to be here ‘til we’re dead or, at least, until he is. With a photographic memory and a penchant for perfection, Matt is the consummate tweaker. He makes great work into exceptional work and keeps everyone on their toes (or hiding under their desks). Matt’s hobbies include grilling, succeeding and loathing raw onions.

Allison Mayer

allison o'neill mayer
director of account services

Born of extremely pale parents on the remote and barely inhabited exotic Island of Rhode, Allison O’Neill Mayer led a charmed and anal compulsive life. From a very early age, Allison was known to organize paper clips by size, color and effectiveness. (Yes, paper clips can be organized by effectiveness.) Who would have guessed this obsessive organizational behavior would benefit her later in life? As Director of Account Services, Allison has instituted a rigorous and demanding “to-do list” policy and has single-handedly wiped out South Florida’s supply of hanging file folders and self-tanner. Clients are impressed by her ability to juggle multiple projects and get seemingly insurmountable tasks accomplished in a timely fashion. A problem-solver at heart, Allison is adept at creating effective media and creative strategies based on individual client needs and resources. She enjoys cooking, gardening and getting budgets approved.

Ed Kitsos

ed kitsos
media director

Ed Kitsos is so full of… personality, yeah, personality. That's what we were gonna say. A character based on him could support an entire sitcom…for like 300 years. Born under a small mushroom in the fiery pits of Hell, Ed learned negotiating skills early. Dealing with the devil is nearly as complicated as negotiating rates with large market stations. As Media Director, his almost infinite knowledge of media buying combined with the philosophy that he’s always right has made Ed a force to be reckoned with. What he lacks in serenity, he makes up for with volume – and it works. In fact, his skills garner thousands of dollars in free stuff each month for every client. An excellent leader, Ed uses irrefutable logic and hot pokers to keep his staff in line. He’s great with research and a wiz with numbers and market analysis. Plus, he’s kind of scary…in a good way. Ed enjoys beer, perfecting media buys and using IQ tests to outshine his peers.

marcee pauff

marcee pauff
creative director

If ADHD had been diagnosed and Ritalin had been in such excessive supply when she was a child, it’s quite possible Marcee Pauff would never have become a Creative Director. Thankfully, her hyperactivity, fondness of her own voice and ability to invent on the fly led to a career in advertising. As their only child, her parents doted on her, creating a confident, well-rounded, spoiled brat. You’d think her head would be disproportionately large for her body since she, apparently, knows everything. Instead, somehow, her butt has taken that crown. With several Addy Awards under her belt, lightning-fast turnaround and a superhuman index of 80’s movies quotes, Marcee is the go-to gal for instantaneous anti-generic ads and ideas. She holds the equivalent of a Master’s Degree in the ability to “say the same thing in a different way”…and as a bonus, she really does know everything. Marcee takes pleasure in watching way too much tv, correcting other people's grammar and complaining.
